Background
Dr. Otuonye E. Onyewuchi, MD, MPH, is a board-certified physician in Internal and Preventive Medicine. As the Medical Director of IntegraCare Clinic, he has ensured that this practice continues to provide quality patient-centered care since its founding in 2012. With more than 35 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Onyewuchi brings broad clinical and research experience to the care of his patients and the leadership of the practice.
His professional experience includes hospital medicine, outpatient primary care, house-call medicine, and clinical research, giving him a comprehensive perspective on patient care across a variety of settings. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Onyewuchi serves as a Principal Investigator and clinical research collaborator with Eagle Clinical Research, participating in research and clinical trials.
Dr. Onyewuchi also currently practices within the Cook County Health hospital system, maintaining an active role in hospital-based medicine and contributing to his continued experience caring for diverse patient populations.
As Medical Director of IntegraCare Clinic, Dr. Onyewuchi is committed to providing thoughtful, comprehensive, and patient-centered care while supporting the clinic’s mission of serving the healthcare needs of its community.
